The PetSafe Standard Radio Fence comes with Transmitter and Ultralight Receiver. The PetSafe Ultralight Receiver is an incredibly light weight 1.2 oz., including batteries. The PetSafe Standard Radio Fence is designed for smaller dogs and cats from 5 pounds up to 45 pounds.
The PetSafe Standard Radio Fence uses the patented ASICS Chip, the only microprocessor in the industry built specifically for pet fences by PetSafe. It has 3,000 filters to eliminate any possibility of interference from outside sources. The transmitter has a wire break indicator light, a power on indicator light, and an audio wire break alarm.

You can order just the right PetSafe Standard Pet Fence for your size yard and the number of pets you own. For you convenience, we have pre-packaged our most popular PetSafe Standard Pet Fences. They include enough wire and flags to cover yards from 1/3 to 5 acres in size and include up to three receivers. If your yard is larger than 5 acres or if you have more than three pets, all you need is more wire and flags and an additional receiver for each additional pet. his system is capable of enclosing up to 10 acres. Training flags are used to establish a visual boundary for your pet during training. After about 30 days, you will be able to remove the flags.
How The PetSafe Standard Radio Fence Works
The PetSafe Standard Radio Fence Transmitter plugs into a standard outlet and emits a radio signal that travels along an underground wire. You can adjust the signal to up to 15 feet from the wire. In most cases, a 4-6 foot signal field will be the best for optimal training. The lightweight receiver worn on your pet's collar picks up the radio signal and alerts him as he nears the underground boundary that you have customized for your yard. When he approaches the boundary, he receives a warning beep. If your dog does not return, he receives a static correction which is startling but not harmful. Our maintenance free design and ease of installation offers tremendous savings compared to conventional fencing and other systems of this type.
The PetSafe Standard Radio Fence makes it easy to train your pet. By spending just 15 minutes a day working with your pet, he can be fully trained in a few days. You can train as many dogs as you want on the same system, as long as they are each wearing a receiver collar. Additional receivers are available if your have more than one dog.
